Supporting Students and Educators in Science By Creating Innovative Teaching Designs Through Research and Collaboration

Meet Dr. Akshata Naik

๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ I'm Dr. Akshata Naik, an assistant professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. I teach foundational physiology in the pre-clinical medical curriculum.ย

My research centers on transforming medical education through innovative teaching methodologies that enhance both student learning ๐Ÿ“š and future physician-patient interactions ๐Ÿฉบ

My current research interest extends to the quantitative analysis of physiological parameters, including heart rate variability, and electrocardiography (ECG) ๐Ÿซ€ in various educational settings. By integrating these measurement techniques into educational frameworks, I hope to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in medical training.
